Second Quarter Goals. (Anne Shore SLA)

Hello people of the outer world. I would like to share with you my goals, for this quarter.

Behavior: I would like to try and have a better attitude going into fifth period. But also be a little bit more engaging with the patrons. I mean I should be very nice. After all they have to sit and wait for me to scan, stamp, and say when it needs to be returned, so in that one minute I should be a wee bit more engaged in conversation, you know?

Participation: I think I participate well. But sometimes I think I should help Miss. Trumm more with repairing books, and putting the plastic sticky stuff on the books. I would actually really like to put the sticky stuff on them. It looks like fun. I do love me some tape, so I think I would be really good at it.

Performance: I know I only need two, but I wanted to talk about this. I think sometimes my performance isn't top notch...only because after I eat, or have lunch, I am all tired. Haha. Not an excuse, just I might be a little slow.

One thing i really need to work on is placing holds. I have never done this but would like to learn. Using the OPAC to locate resources, i did it once and was pretty good at it but practice never hurts. Also shelving.

I would like to work on talking/ communicating with patrons because I'm not very good at that when checking out. I would also like to improve on placing and processing holds as easily as possible. And of course, shelving too.

Quarter 2 goals

New Goals For The Quarter.

My goals for this quarter are for me to learn how to put the plastic covery things on books. I want to set aside a day for that. That is my one very important goal. One other i guess you could say goal is to rewind a tape.

This week I have gotten to work on the shelving part because I can always improve on that, I also get to work on taking down the displays and getting fast at that. Late last week, I found out how to fix a book with this weird green tape that only sticks when its wet. Hopefully, I can repair a book this week because I want to repair one at least once a week.

This week i made a window display about turning in your bookmarks! (: It's under the Peru, Kenya, and El Salvador flags. I think i could have made it a little better by improving my skill on how to write backwards and also maybe planing it out before hand so it wont take as long. I like how i spaced tried to space everything out though.

Next week I'm thinking about making a lot of copies of the bookmarks so that we can hand them out to people who want them!

Claire's Weekly goals(:

I have gotten to shelve more this week and have not yet gotten to repair this week, I did last week and feel I did fairly well for how badly the book was falling apart. I think I need to take more time shelving because I haven't been getting 100% lately..

Rosie's Weekly goals

My weekly goals are going great! I can check out books to the students, have been improving my shelving but need some more practice in the Non-fiction section. I have learned how to shelve audio-books. I would like to learn how to check them out in the near future.
