Great job on your first Noodle Tools assignment. I know there have been some frustrating moments, but you are persevering all the same. You have now gained some background information on judicial review and civil and human rights. The next step is to do some more specific reading on one aspect of judicial review. You will focus on one of three cases: Marbury v. Madison, Dred Scott, or U.S. v. Nixon.
As we conduct this research, we will maintain a cart of your books and materials, so check them out to yourself and put them on the cart marked "Constitutional Issues" in our office.
1. Use The Young Oxford Companion to the Supreme Court of the United States, by Patrick (REF 347.73 Pat, on cart) to read about the three cases. Add the book to your Noodle tools account with an annotation explaining what it is and what info you found useful.
2. Still in Noodle Tools, add your research question to the project "How did the principle of judicial review protect the constitutional right to _______ in the case of ______?". Fill in the blanks!
3. Use the library catalog to create a resource list with at least three print resources and three websites from Webpath Express for your topic. Pull the print resources and put them on the cart.
