Watch this video.  Please add a comment below:
1.  Why is it important that the books in a library are organized?
2.  What are three rules or steps that you use to shelve books in our library?

  1. I have seen the video. I think it is important for books to be organized because then you are able to find the books in a snap. Well three rules that ME MYSELF use is, look for the author first. Then check to see if the author has any other books. If so then, put it in alephabeltical order next to or before another book.

  2. It is important that the books in the library are organized so you can find them easily.
Three simple rules to shelving are the last name of the author, the first name of the author, and the title of the book (leaving out the, or a).

  3. It is important for books to be organized so that way a reader can easily find the book.
The three rules of shelving are, author first, then check to see if there are any other books by the same author. Lastly (if there are more books by the same author), place the book in alephabetical order with the other books.
