Book Review
The book I am doing my review on is Paranormalcy, by Kiersten White. The book is about a girl named Evie who works for the I.P.C.A. It stands for International Paranormal Containment Agency. Working for the I.P.C.A. is all Evie's ever known. She was in the foster system growing up and she has no clue who she is or what her real name is. Evie is a very special girl. She can see through paranormals glimmers, which is like a cloaking over there true form. She is the only one in the world that can do this that they know of. Everything is going okay for Evie when all of a sudden paranormals start dropping dead with there souls sucked out of them and they have no clue how or who is doing it. Then things get weirder. Evie's ex-boyfriend, Reth, starts trying to take her away to the fairy realm, and there is a break-in at the agency, but Evie doesn't know what to think of the strange, see through, water colored boy.
I loved this book the first time I read it, and I love it more every time I re-read it.  Paranormalcy is a riveting supernatural book that catches your interests from the first page. Between Evie's pink taser (tasey) and the way she thinks normal life is like one of her favorite high school drama shows, you will be laughing your butt off. The characters pull you in to the book and grow on you, though some more then others. There is a lot of twists and turns that will leave you guessing, some sad some happy. This story is a refreshing take on paranormal books. I give it five stars.

  1. That book sounds really good... I might have to borrow it from you sometime. :) It sounds a little freaky though. Is it anything like "Full Tilt"?
