The last book I finished reading was How Angel Peterson Got His Name by Gary Paulson. I really like this book because of its humor and originality.
My favorite book ever would have to be Aces up by Lauren Barnholdt. I liked this book because it was suspenseful, humorous, and romantic. I think it would be a great addition to the library.
One thing I am most excited about is getting back into the swing of things since last year I was a SLA with Roman. I had a great time last year and expect no less this year.
I really enjoyed Angel Peterson too. I read several parts aloud to my husband. It reminded me a bit of the book Harris and Me. I have not read Aces Up. I will look into it. Do you own a copy?
ReplyDeleteI am so pleased that you are rejoining us for a semester of SLAness. I love to have the Advanced SLA's to help train the others and to learn some more library and research skills.
Is this book a good choice for someone with no sport interests? I thought that's what it was about so I didn't read it for BOB. :)
