My goals were:
-to work on shelving the non-fiction books through the dewey decimal way.
-Become more familiare with the library and how it works.

Yes I have achieved my goals because I used the do you know dewey link on one of the blogs helping me better understand the dewey decimal system. Also, I shelved some non-fiction books too. And so far throughout learning all that I can about the library this quarter, I have figured out how it works.

A -patron assistance: I feel that I have been doing very well with patron assistance. I've been helping everyone with all of their questions and If I did not know the answer, I would ask Mrs. Merrigan or Mrs. Trumm. I've done very well in learning how to check in/out books for people also.

B-library organization/administration: I have done very well in the care and keeping of the library and its resources. I have to admit that when I started I was a little nervous when I started learning about the dewey decimal system, but now I'm very confident in it and shelving the non-fiction books and fiction books.

C-Information literacy skills: I have definitely increased my learning in being able to find books and information. When I started, I had a lot of trouble finding books in the library, but now I can find them very easily and also help others find them too.

Goal ideas for second quarter:
-further develop my learning with organization of the library.
-work more on the dewey decimal system.
