Welcome back from our unexpectedly long Thanksgiving break. I hope you had a great time!
This week's assignment refers to the two articles that you were assigned to read two weeks ago. They are entitled "The Struggle for Human Rights" from the book Bill of Rights, and "Judicial Review," from The U.S. Constitution.
For each article, you must do the following:
1. Reread the article
2. Log in to Noodle Tools (we set it up a long time ago! See me if you need help)
3. Create a new project in Noodle Tools entitled "Constitutional Issues."
4. Create bib cards for each of the books that the articles came from (use the OPAC to get publishing information). Include an annotation that summarizes the article and tells how it might be useful in your research.
5. Create 3 notecards for each article. Each notecard will include: an important quotation from the article (3 sentences max); an explanation of its meaning in your own words; your ideas, connections and thoughts about its importance. The notecards will provide fields for each of these parts.
6. Share your project with me. The name of my dropbox is Constitutional Issues
7. Add a comment to this blog posting to let me know that you have completed the assignment. Please include any questions or problems that you have.

ReplyDeleteI was a little confused with some words in the packet labeled U.S. Constitution, but other than that, I had no problems.
I have no articles, I had been usiing the ones by the whiteboard in the library but I forgot to take them home. I tried to call Katherine to see if I could borroww her articles but she is not home. Until tommorrow I have everything done, unless I can get ahold of Katherine. I did as much as I could from memory but that was not much at all.
ReplyDeleteMs. Merrigan, I have comleted my Noodle Tools assignment and ready for you to look at it. I was slightly confused at first when reading the U.S. Constitution article, but then figured it out. I couldn't fill in some the citation information without the books, so I just left them blank. I think I am starting to understand and will be glad to have your feedback.
ReplyDeleteI finished. I think that the whole noodle tools system is confusing. I accidently put all my things into piles and could'nt get them out.
ReplyDeletei (almost)finished the assignment. but, i really need help on annotating the u.s constitution i couldn't type the annotation because i cant understand the article. that article was really hard to understand.i am not sure if i did it right but i hope i did.
